Grace Upon Grace – Eight-Day at Home Retreat
20 – 28 November 2020
This retreat will also be offered 10 – 18 October 2021
Kardia is offering you an invitation to join us in forming a community of prayer during an eight-day retreat while you are at home.
The retreat will be drawn from the book Grace Upon Grace by Marlene Marburg. You can make this a silent retreat or a retreat in daily life. You can choose to pray with one or more readings from the daily suggested readings.
Each day we will meet for group sharing on Zoom (no more than five people) with a spiritual director. Upon registration, we will give you some simple instructions on how to access and use Zoom.
The cost of the retreat will be $120 – $295 Australian. Please decide according to your financial circumstances. The book, Grace Upon Grace: Savouring the Spiritual Exercises Through The Arts, will be posted to you upon registration if you are in Australia, or an ebook will be sent to those making the retreat outside of Australia. If you already have the book, think about posting it on to someone else.
The retreat will begin on the morning of Friday 20th November 2020l and end on Saturday 28th November 2020. We will send more details when you inquire at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can complete the 8-day retreat Application Form and send it to Kardia now.
May we continue to form communities of prayerful support in this time of uncertainty and unprecedented change,
Feedback from participants in the previous eight-day at home retreat:
While our current reality amidst this virus provided the opportunity, I feel what has emerged is so right, good, appropriate and enables a connection that would otherwise never happen. Our world needs this so much. Thank you! Annette
The material (in Grace Upon Grace) was a ‘gift’ of immense value. Sue.
The material to guide us each day was very thought provoking – a real smorgasboard. The daily coming together as a group was very stimulating and in helped me to process more than I had done on my own … so enriching, Theresa.
